WADAH strongly condemns the United States’ military strikes targeting Iranian strategic interests, describing it as a flagrant violation of sovereignty, international law, and democratic process. These actions were taken without proper consultation with the U.S. Senate, reflecting an increasingly autocratic leadership style akin to modern-day dictators and the brutal tyranny of Hitler.
1. The United States Must Not Spark a New Global War
America’s unilateral aggression only deepens instability in the Middle East and risks triggering a broader regional war. The international community must no longer tolerate the unchecked arrogance of a superpower acting beyond democratic oversight and global legal norms.
2. The World Must Choose Peace, Not Violence
WADAH calls upon all involved parties to immediately cease hostilities and return to the negotiation table. The only sustainable solution is one based on justice, respect for human rights, and the sovereignty of all nations.
3. OIC and the United Nations Must Act Decisively
WADAH urges the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to play a concrete role in protecting affected Muslim populations and advancing a peace process. The United Nations (UN) must abandon its double standards and adopt a firm stance against illegal military intervention and modern-day imperialism.
4. Call for Global Condemnation and Immediate Diplomatic Solutions
WADAH appeals to world governments, international institutions, and civil society to strongly denounce these violations of international law, and to intensify diplomatic pressure for all parties to resolve their disputes through peaceful and just negotiations.
