KUALA LUMPUR – WADAH, an Islamic organization in Malaysia, a leading advocate for peace and justice, strongly condemns the recent bombings in Yemen by US and UK military, resulting loss of innocent lives. The relentless use of force and violence against the Yemeni people has reached a level that is not only unacceptable but deeply distressing to the international community.
The ongoing conflict in Yemen has created a humanitarian crisis of immense proportions, affecting millions of innocent civilians. It is regrettable that the situation has further deteriorated due to a disgusting bullying attitude and a blatant disregard for human rights. We believe that such actions only perpetuate suffering and prevent any realistic chance for a peaceful resolution.
Moreover, it is disheartening to witness the Middle East being subjected to constant unrest due to geopolitical plans that prioritize self-interest over the well-being of the region’s inhabitants. The use of military intervention, rather than diplomatic efforts, only serves to exacerbate tensions and prolong the suffering of innocent people caught in the crossfire.
WADAH urges all parties involved to immediately cease the use of violence and engage in sincere dialogue and negotiations towards a peaceful resolution. We call upon world leaders and international organizations to prioritize diplomatic solutions and commit to assisting the Yemeni people in their journey towards stability, security, and self-determination.
We strongly advocate for all nations and leaders to reject dirty geopolitical plans and avoid being trapped in false narratives that only serve to deepen divisions and prolong conflicts. It is imperative that genuine efforts are made to address the root causes of conflict, promote human rights, and empower local communities to rebuild their lives.
WADAH remains dedicated to advocating for peace, justice, and the protection of human rights worldwide. We stand in solidarity with the Yemeni people, offering our support to address the pressing challenges they face.
